We were able to go out to dinner with Bri's entire birthday to celebrate his Mom's birthday! It was the first time that ALL ten of us have been out together and I must say it went suprisely well. Minus our child being super hyper and a small melt down due to being tired! It was great to catch up with everyone and Belle enjoyed seeing her cousins. Thanks for a great time and the wonderful little pumpkin Gigi/Pap and A and T(and the boys)!

Riley is One!
Our wonderful friends' little girl turned 1, one month to the day after Belle. Of course these two are destined to be BFF:) We headed down to the beach to celebrate her BIG day. We loved catching up with friends and of course the girls enjoyed seeing each other. We can't wait for them to make as many wonderful memories as their parents over the year! Happy Birthday sweet adorable Riley!!!
Off to the pumpkin patch
We are so fortunate to share a special pumpkin patch with Belle every year! We are able to take her to the church we were married at to pick out her pumpkin. We hope to continue this tradition for years to come. Afterwards we enjoyed a yummy lunch at the VT! Isn't she just adorable!!!
Belle's first steps
Belle took her first 3 steps on the Sunday after her birthday!!! It was wonderful to watch, since that time she has been baby stepping, but not off and running...stay tuned for frankenstein.
One year check up
Belle had a great one year check up with her wonderful doctor!!! She still is a little peanut weighing in at 17 pound 10 ounces (4% in weight) and 28 1/2 inches long (32% in height). Daddy came this time to help with her shots...ouch! We were able to talk about what new foods to introduce and whole milk! That is right...we made it an entire year of nursing! We are both so proud but ready to move onto the next phase;)
Lastly, we decided to take the paci away...gulp! Our doctor said it would be so much easier just to go ahead...so to Bri's dismay that night was the first one without a paci. Needless to say I had to go to the grocery store after I put her down for bed. But, I must say 3 nights later it was MUCH better and about a week and half later nap time was back on schedule...whew! I have realized it is always something and now at least we are worrying about pacifiers and food!

Elsa comes for TWO visits
My dear friend Linda's little girl Elsa had a spend the night with us while her parents enjoyed some QT! We had such a great visit and the girls just LOVE getting together to play! I have posted some pictures from their fun!

We were so fortunate to have Elsa for a second visit a week later. Bri watched the girls and allowed Linda and I to catch up with some wonderful Chi Omega's at homecoming! The girls had a blast (moms and daugthers)!!

September 12, 2009
On Saturday, September 12, 2009 Bri's and our lives changed forever. Our little angel was born at 2:07pm, 6 pounds 15 ounces, 19.5 ounces long...Belle DeVault Ledbetter blessed our lives. Thank you God for the miracle of our daugther!! Belle is the most amazing little girl. She has such a sweet demeanor and a loving personality. She truly lights up the room. We will continue to hope and wish the best for our sweet baby girl, as all parents. Mommy and Daddy love you!
On Belle's first birthday, Belle enjoyed another banana cupcake and Mommy and Daddy sang happy birthday...sorry it is really bad ;). She also opened her birthday present from us, her first little baby doll. After much research, we decided to go with Baby Stella from Manhattan Toys and were very pleased with our decision. Belle loved putting baby Stella in her new baby bed. Gigi gave Belle her baby bed for her first birthday! Such a special gift, Gigi, Aunt A, and now Belle will all have so many fond memories of rocking their babies in such a beautiful baby bed!
Then we headed over for Belle and Daddy to meet the most precious addition to our family. Little Gabriel, Brian's sisters new little one!! Isn't he too precious for words!!!
