New Favorite Toy

Barnes and Noble has the BEST children toys!  Sometimes Belle and I will just go in there to play with the toys! I bought her this toy around Christmas knowing it is still a little too old for her.  Belle loves stacking different variations and designs.

Ellie comes for a little visit

My dear college friend Ashley had a sweet baby girl named Ellie in January. She stopped by for a visit a few weeks ago.  I had such a great time holding sweet little Ellie and reminiscing about when Belle was that tiny.  I can't really even remember it?!  How sad is that?  We still owe Ellie, Ashley and Jeremy a dinner.  We are so excited to have little Ellie here and can't wait for future play dates when Ellie gets older :)

As you can tell Belle loved playing with Ellie's car seat until Mommy came in  and took it away.  I didn't get a great picture of Ellie since I didn't want to flash in her sweet little eyes.

Belle has started to climb on everything these days!  Her new favorite is climbing up her leap frog table.

Beautiful days!

We have been so fortunate to have some beautiful days to play outside.  We are crossing our fingers that spring is really coming early and no more yucky weather!  Belle loves playing outside specifically with Bosco, one of our dogs.  She says Bosco 24/7 and is truly in love with her.  It is too funny!

Grandpa comes for a visit!

We have not seen my Dad or stepmom since the 2nd week in November as they are in Florida for the winter.  My dad had to come up for board meetings and stayed with us for three nights.  It took Belle no time at all to be Grandpa's little girl all over again.  We had such a great time catching up and hanging out!  Can't wait for our trip to Florida in April to visit!

So Bri decided to rearrange the attic and all of a sudden I heard an extremely loud noise from Belle's bedroom.  I rushed in to find Belle awake and this..............

All I could do is laugh :).  We found a great handy man to come and fix our "hole".

Happy 30th Birthday Luke!

Our wonderful college friends, Luke and Linda celebrated Luke's 30th birthday by renting a house at Lake Norman for a get together.  Who knew you could rent houses at Lake Norman? What a great idea.  Belle and their daughter Elsa loved catching up and we had such a blast seeing old friends.  Thanks guys for a great night and Luke for starting the 30's off right this year! (there is a whole group of us hitting the big 3-0 this year!)

It always seems like the dishwasher needs to be unloaded when we get home.  It is one of Belle's most favorite things to do.  She hands me all the silverware and always says "dank you".  Maybe this will be one of her chores when she gets older?

My little ballerina and boo boo

Well, it has been WAY too long for an update about Belle...I am going to go through some highlights over the last 2 months.  Belle has a air popper toy that plays musics as the balls pop.  I am sure most of you have seen this toy.  A must for toddlers.  Anyways, all of a sudden Belle has started to dance like a graceful ballerina to this music.  It is so adorable.  Good thing she is starting ballet lessons this fall :).  Belle also received her first boo boo in January.  She dropped a pot lid on her toe and gashed it wide open.  Mommy almost had a heart attack.  Now Belle can show you her boo boo 24/7 even though it has been healed for months.
