Happy Easter

We had the best Easter, Belle did great at church and was of course admired by all!  After church the Easter bunny brought her some puzzles, bubbles and a baby stroller(which has become her new obsession)  We headed over to Gigi and Pap's for a wonderful Easter meal, more egg hunting and fun with cousins!  Belle received so many goodies from Gigi and Pap and her cousins, thanks so much!!!  We were also able to watch some old slides of daddy when he was a baby which was too fun!

A bow?

As many of you know and can tell Belle doesn't have much hair therefore bows aren't on the priority list.  But all of a sudden she is starting to grow a little more.  Much to my dislike bows still don't interest her, but over the weekend she decided to wear this pink one off her jumper for quite some time.  Maybe I am breaking her down or maybe she thought it would get her out a nap?  Who knows?

Still hasn't given it up...

It has been over a month now and Belle still chasing the dogs endlessly shoveling food in their mouth.  They are such good sports now they just spit it out when she isn't looking.........

Hunting for Eggs

Belle was fortunate to do lots of hunting for eggs this year.  This particular egg hunt was at a friend of ours from Church.  We invited little Nolan and Ellie to join us for their first egg hunt EVER:)  The babes were so cute and I enjoyed hanging out with them AND their parents for a little cookout at our house afterwards.  Belle loved hunting eggs with Rachel, a friend from church.  She is older than Belle and showed her all the ropes.

Trees, trees, trees

Our multi-site location of Mt. Tabor, g3 handed out trees at the local Earth Day Fair.  Here we are in action getting ready for the tree giveaway.  Didn't get a snap of Belle but she was very helpful!!!
check out our new site link at http://www.gathergrowgo.org/  God is at work!

Florida Sunshine

Every year we try to make it down to Bonita to visit Dad and Liz as they split their time between the sunny Florida Coast and the NC mountains.  I wasn't sure if we were actually going to make it.  Brian got really sick which spread to Belle and I.  I was able to get her some antibotics and we decided to try to make the trip.  Flying with a 18 month old and two sick parents is NEVER something I would advise however it wasn't so bad.  Belle actually slept half of the way down and by Wednesday of our week vacation we felt better.  Nothing the beach can't cure.

Belle absolutely loved the beach.  We went every morning until lunch time.  She loved pointing out all the birds, shells and playing in the sand.  Mommy tried to will her to construct a sandcastle; let's say we made progress :)

Dad and Liz live in an awesome neighborhood in Florida that has tons of greenway paths, restaurants, parks and a marina.  Belle loved playing in one of the parks and watch cautiously as the doggies enjoyed some exercise.  The white one, is buddy and the rest are his friends.

Belle was also excited about her second boat ride, even though we didn't get too far since something happened to the boat, but she liked checking out all the sites and sounds for sure!

We loved swimming in Grandpa and Lizzie's pool and checking out the lake and beautiful flowers surrounding their house.  Here is the little girl in action :) We were also fortunate to enjoy 2 yummy dinners out at local restaurants and great food.  Belle tried her first bite of sushi(not with raw fish) but cooked and LOVED it!  Love that sometimes she is adventurous with eating, key word sometimes!

Thanks for a great time Dad and Lizzie!!!
