Visit from Kim!
After a long afternoon nap from cookie decorating Belle and I were able to hang out with my dear college friend Kim. She drove 2 hours just to hang out with us for the evening! We had a great time catching up and Belle loved showing Kim all her new big girl toys and milestones. Thanks so much for a great visit Kim!
Christmas Cookies (2nd year!)
We were so fortunate to have Belle's BFF Elsa and her mom, Linda up to our house along with our college friend Teresa for our second annual Christmas cookie bake off! The girls had a great time catching up and enjoyed the icing and cookies way more than the actual baking. Of course this being Belle's first real sugar she downed her cookie and icing very quickly. We had a great day and can't wait to continue this tradition and will be introducing the Mcgalliard's newest little girl making her appearance in May to our tradition next year. We are so over the moon for them with their exciting news and know Elsa will be the best big sister EVER!
See the link from the Mcgalliard's blog from our cookie decorating last year...seriously look at those adorable cheeks...my how they have grown! http://mcgalliardfamily.blogspot.com/2009/12/baking-christmas-cookies.html

A lazy Sunday!
We enjoyed a lazy Sunday afternoon. Bri has been really sick the last week and we are so very happy that he is starting to feel better and very blessed that Belle and I were able to dodge his sickness! Whew! Belle had a great day being mommy to her new favorite baby doll. I find it so funny to watch little girls "be little mommies" even at Belle's age! As you can tell she also loves messing up Daddy's football game.
First snow of the year
We were somewhat suprised to receive our first snow of the year on Saturday!! Belle wasn't completed thrilled with the snow this year as she was last December. She just woke up from a nap so I gave her a few graham crackers to satisfy her while I was able to get a few cute shots! She actually kept a hat on as well! I am hoping that trend will continue with the hat wearing in this cold weather. But here are some adorable shots of her checking it out and some of our neighborhood as well.
Starting to look a lot like Christmas
The house is slowly coming together this year for Christmas, I must admit this year has been a little harder getting everything together with a toddler running around. I will slowly post pictures, but will just start with our tree. I decorated the tree last Sunday night and when Belle woke up in on Monday and saw it she was scared of it! I would have never imagined this!! But as the week has progressed she has come to love the tree including pulling ornaments off and hiding them from Mommy!
Christmas Tree Lighting
Friday night, we had a G3 Christmas Tree give-a-way at the town Christmas Tree lighting. It was chilly but fun! Santa rode in on the fire truck to see all the children and the mayor read Twas the night before Christmas.
